Our story begins in 1967 when our grandfather Jack Guthrie began his life long career in construction. His straight forward no nonsense attitude combined with his upmost respect for his fellow tradesmen, earned him the rank of Union XXX. His dedication to the trade was passed on to his son Thomas who went on to establish Guthrie Construction in 1974 to carry on Jack’s vision of building beautiful structures that stand the test of time. Now, as third generation builders, we proudly carry the family legacy serving Marin County with our expertise and passion.
